Social Commitment

IT support for
non-profit organizations.

Non-profit organizations do important work – often with limited resources and little technical know-how. That’s where I want to help, wherever I can. I implement smaller projects at cost, with no profit margin for myself, and larger ones at significantly reduced rates. This isn’t a blanket offer – I decide on each case individually based on project fit and availability.

At cost

Small Projects

I implement standard solutions and smaller projects from my portfolio for recognized non-profit organizations with no profit margin for myself – you only cover the costs incurred.

  • Simple websites & landing pages
  • Templates, forms & simple tools
  • Small automations & scripts
  • Setup & configuration of existing software
Reduced rate

Larger Projects

For more complex or custom projects, I charge a significantly reduced rate – with only a small markup over my actual effort.

  • Custom software development
  • Data platforms & analytics
  • AI integration & automation
  • Complex web applications & platforms
Requirements

When I can help.

To make sure this offer reaches those who really need it, clear criteria apply. Please read them carefully before submitting a request.

Proven non-profit status

This offer is exclusively for recognized non-profit organizations – e.g. registered associations (e.V.), non-profit limited companies (gGmbH), foundations, or similar recognized legal forms. Proof (e.g. a tax-exemption certificate) is required.

No blanket offer

I decide on each case individually. Criteria include thematic fit, a realistic project scope, and my current capacity. A request is not a commitment – I’ll get back to you personally with an honest assessment.

Availability & timing

Pro bono projects happen alongside my regular client work. I can’t guarantee fixed start dates – please plan enough lead time and reach out early.

Clear project focus

The project should be clearly scoped and realistically achievable. I can’t take on open-ended or very vague projects within the pro bono framework – good preparation on your side helps us both.

Process

How a request unfolds.

1

Submit a request

Describe your organization, proof of non-profit status, and your project briefly and concretely. The clearer it is, the faster I can assess it.

2

Individual review

I review your request against the criteria above and get back to you within a few business days – with a clear answer on whether and how I can help.

3

Joint planning

If accepted, we discuss scope, timeline, and expectations together. I value a structured start so the project succeeds.
